Do you ship outside the EU?

Yes. But buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. Also, I'm not responsible for delays due to customs.

Please keep in mind that yourorder may be subject to customs duties or import tax if you are ordering from a country outside the EU. Due I am a tiny business, I do not charge VAT. Outside the EU, the buyers are liable for these taxes along with the custom fees, so please check with your local postal authority for more information.

When do you ship?

Packages will be send on Thuesdays, including all orders placed until Monday 3 pm. (except I am sick or other unpredictible reasons)

This excludes comissions and made-to-order.

Comissions and made-to-order might take longer to finish and will be send with the following batch on a Thuesday. (for manufacture time see description of the item.) I will contact you with the predicted time it will probably take.

what do the weird sizes like "A5" mean?

it is a paper size standard, which is widley used.

How Sustainable is your artwork?

I have to admit, that this is quite a difficult thing when it comes to art and crafts. Sustainability is a very important topic for me, so i try to use good materials and avoid as much waste as possible. Sustainability has not completly reached the art sector, and it is a lot of compromises. I am always searching for good materials, that have responsible sources, but i also keep an eye on age stability (like acid free paper or lightfastness in colours when possible) - but it is quite difficult.

I also reuse as much package material as possible - so please don't feel aghast if your package is not the most beautiful - maybe it will be repurposed packaging - but it will be well made and do its job ;)

is your artwork veganfriendly?

With the paper, i cannot guarantee, because size is still used in paper production.

when it comes to gilding, I mostly use traditional methods, so I use hideglue, boneglue and gelatine. the upside of that is, i do not use any plastic, and they age better. Also, gelatine and glue are byproducts of the Industries.

Because I eat mostly plantbased or vegeterian food myself, I am experimenting a bit with alternatives for the gilding on glass. when I used up my last supply of gelatine, I will change to something else.
