The sunbear and the moontilope chasing each other in an endless cycle. Their gigantic leaps bring day and night. Let's hope noone stumbles and breaks a galaxy, or two....

This version is limited to seven pieces, numbered and signed. Four are already finished, the next three will follow soon.

The moon and the sun are little reliefs, gilded with genuine silver- and goldleaf, in semi-matte effect. I used a traditional technique for them, and they are made of a plaster-like material. Because they are very tiny, the process is a bit difficult and the gilding might have little red areas (that's were the surface called "bole" beneath shines through )the beams are also made with leafgold, but the gold and silver stick to a synthetic adhesive.

not vegan friendly, I used hideglue and shellac.

PLEASE NOTE
* I am not using a professional press, these prints are completly made by hand, so they are not always 100% perfect.

* You will need an "object frame" (with a distance between background and glass) for this, because the sun and the moon are several mm thick. On the photo I used this frame.

* Do not bend the print too much and don't scratch of the gold/silver surface. Handle with care.
